Error code: 05 on recordings

I have a hopper 2 and I've recently had a couple recordings that will not play back. Instead I get the following message written in red:

"A problem was encountered when opening the files for this DVR event. Please note the error code: 05"

I had a very similar issue a couple years back with my 722. But my hopper 2 has been flawless until this point. Has anyone seen this message? Does anyone know what this means? My current software is S531 but I don't know how long I've had it.
 
Means the recording didn't work right and there is now way to watch it. I see it even on the hopper 3. Sometimes I get one recording with the 04 or 05 red warning- and the recording last less than a minute and then another right above that recording that works fine at 59 minutes. Like the timer didn't fire right and had to restart. It is sporadic and comes and goes.
 
I haven't seen that issue in quite awhile, was occurring fairly often with my HWS and the H3 early on.

We just got the error on our old Hopper 1. The recording is a day or two old, but it has the red record icon. Attempting to stop recording fails. When our recordings end later this afternoon I'll reboot and try again unless someone posts a better idea.
