Error 771 when switching channels

Hey guys,

new here but need some help.

I hooked up my own direct tv dish and receiver and it all worked great for a few minutes but every time i switch channels I get error 771. The only way to fix it is to go into the the signal settings and wait for all the transponders to show the signal strengths on the tv. After that the channel i am on will work and certain other channels will work but i keep getting the error 771. I am wondering if it has to do with my signal strength? I tried switching lnbs and switching out the cables... no difference. my readings are all in the high 90's but only certain columns of transponders show a signal..... here are the ones i just got....

I am using a dish 500 dish with 2 lnbs and an SD DirectTV model R10.

Any help would be very much appreciated... i look forward to being active in the forums here!
