I don't know. I remember the glory days about 5 years ago when Equity would add channels or the weekly affiliation swap where you didnt know what you would get

Moded my mount yesterday http://www.satelliteguys.us/free-air-fta-discussion/182268-modified-mount-my-84cm.html so Im ready to swing anywhere in the arc. Right now I'm keeping the dish fixed but want to make use of the 2 LNBF's on it on two satellites. How far can I get spacing to work? Right now I have 123 and 127 on it.

What are you guys best suggestions for birds out there. I want one on the HTN feeds on AMC-4 where should the other one point?

i just ordered the 4* clamp. I am going to setup that 36" geosatpro dish onto AMC4 and AMC15. Has anyone else done this setup?

I was sad when it was no longer g10r, but now it is really sad.... lol.

I am thinking about changing my PrimeStar dish so it can get both Equity Broadcasting and WhiteSprings (123 w, and 129 w.)

Do you think the "This" channels on 123 W will survive ?


How do you go about adding another LNBF to do this ?

Sports, religion, etc = nothing to watch, at all.

They aren't going to take away thisTV too are they?
Since I lost RTV that's all that's left now. If they take thisTV off I might as well just pull all that stupid stuff out of the ground and plant flowers.

Wow. Two months I wasted messing with this stuff and it's all going bye bye.

probably not...since Equity sold off almost all of the stations they will slowly leave.

I figured the "moving to Daystar" stations would have been gone 2 months ago

Thank you. I had people try to take advantage of me at best buy and that one that went out of business last year, both. I don't know if they went through my files, probably did but they wouldn't have found much interesting there. My concern was they over charged me a massive amount for simple things just because I didn't know any better.

Anyway.

So yes, I would love to buy a regular tuner box but finances are already stretched tight as it is. I already threw away too much money on that silly finder that hasn't helped me one single bit as it only works on pay stuff and not free stuff.

I'll just have to wait. Besides, I saw people saying that some church bought up a lot of channels and turned them all off except their own church stuff. Nice how they believe in freedom of choice. Take away everything else so you only have the freedom to choose to watch the only remaining content, their stuff. Nice. :

But anyway, I too have discovered a lot of channels vanishing.
I only get 6 channels total and that's using FOUR stupid ugly satellite dishes!
Make it 7 if you count the nasa channel, which I don't. It has some pretty earth pictures on it sometimes but it's usually a bunch of men talking on a microphone and spinning stuff around like they are fascinated by it. !sadroll Puhleeeeeze....

Sorry to vent, this entire satellite thing has been an adventure in frustration.

You just need one motorized dish and standard def receiver, you would be tickled pink over the variety of channels available for free. Just had a tough start with the hobby, some of us do. I could write a book on how my satellite tv hobby evolved.

The sad fact is that most of what is for sale at these electronics retailers is way overpriced compared with online prices. Very often its twice the price. For example, at the first retailer you mentioned, a 1.5 TB hard drive is over $200. I just paid that much for TWO similar drives, shipped to my door. The list goes on and on. That's not to say they don't have some good deals from time to time, but you really do need to know your prices. It goes along with what you were saying, basically the more you know, the less you'll get ripped off ...
