Is there relatively inexpensive metering equipment to help aim a dish? Something that an installer might use? Just curious.

There are devices that hook inline and give you a relative strength, they cost about $25. What I do is take my old Dish 3900 and hook it up outside to a 13" monitor and tune into the sat install screen so I can see the screens & hear the tones as I am tweaking the dish.

Thanks, I see a few different things on Ebay. I'm just getting tired of trying to get an installer to actually come LOOK at my house before they tell me it won't work.
