I am in the initial planning stages for an all-HDTV sports bar in a small city (big enough to support the bar, but small enough there will not be any ESPNZone or other big boys to compete with). Assume the AV technology budget is $50,000 - $75,000 installed/calibrated/ready to go. DirecTV will be the content provider due to Sunday Ticket.
Any advice would be appreciated regarding:
- Best front projection technology for a sports bar (won't be completely dark) ... there will be four or six big screens
- Best large projection screens, or is a white wall just as good?
- Multi-switch technology so I can have different games on each of the TVs
- Control equipment so I can manage all TVs from the office / AV closet
- Audio equipment so customers can select audio at their tables
- Most cost-efficient "fill-in" TVs for games not on the big screens, people sitting at bad angles
- Any other advice
