Encore HD

I just upgraded to AT 250..............How true to the correct aspect ratio is Encore?.............I did notice "Stargate", was presented the way the director created it.
Is that just an exception, or will I be pleasantly surprised.

With Encore, I've noticed OAR(letterbox), 16x9, and 4x3.

Big Trouble in Little China
Ratatouille

I like the channel a lot, something actually good that Dish has that others don't.

While some of the HD channel is in (HD) as indicated there is a lot without the (HD) sign and sure enough it is not HD. These are movies for which there are likely HD copies, like Princess Bride for one that comes to mind. OAR preferred.
