Burning a hole in the forums this morning....
Does anyone have FIRST HAND experience with any of the larger multi-switches?
By larger, I mean >5 or even >8 inputs ?
I'm considering trying this 16-in (+ 1 port for terrestrial), 8-out model from
EMP-Centauri:

This switch can hopefully be switched across all 16-inputs using the 16 switching states of DiSeqC but it is unclear whether it is that simple.
I've decided to order one and run it through it's paces with a Pansat receiver.
I found one of EMP's dealers in Canada who is willing to special order one for me. Some emailing to EMP in the Czech Republic determined that it will run on 120v as well as 220v.
The idea with this multiswitch is to connect eight dual LNBFs to multiple receivers.
I called Panarex to ask if it might work. The fellow I spoke with seem to think their receivers will work with a multiswitch, even though they don't have a specific multiswitch designation in their setup menu.
Comments appreciated.
