Embedded YouTube Video Player Broken

Something just broke with the embedded YouTube player on the Site. Attempting to play a video now brings up a “Sign in to confirm you’re not a bot” message and no way to sign in or find out more.

This is on my Gen 9 iPad with iPadOS 18.0 running Safari.

YouTube is apparently implementing new restrictions, probably to be able to track you better. Click on the same link later, and it will play fine sometimes.

I was on a different forum and was able to play an Embedded YouTube video just fine, so it may be a timing issue, like you said.

Well, it works using Edge, so I zapped my cookies and other cached data, and what do you know, YouTube likes me again.

There is nothing special about our YouTube player as its just a direct YouTube Embed.

No forum I visit seems to be dropping poisoned cookies more frequently than SatelliteGuys.
