hey dish it would be nice to watch the channel in HD on 195 already it should be real easy to mapdown the channel to 195 a real quick uplink report should do it

UP is "SD" not "HD". Not that it matters as it's old SD stuff being broadcast anyway. Will be taking it out of my Favorites..
you are right about that they do have a HD feed available which dish will be uplinking this month and testing.
right now AHC is now on channel 9570 in HD dish has not mapped it down to 195 and in their email to their customers yesterday they said that everyone would be getting AHC in HD on 195 today.UP has not been uplinked could be next week
It was previously called GMC - Gospel Music Channel & was rebranded in 2013.
Funny thing...as many HD channels that we do NOT have on our local Comcast system, this IS one HD channel they've had for years now...along w/TV One HD.
This is GREAT!! Nazis in HD! . Uh, I am a frequent AHC watcher/recorder , so I am truly pleased by this news. FINALLY! That should read: Monsters, Extra-terrestrial Aliens, UFO's and Nazi's in HD. . And you all thought H2 was dead. I told you all that Georgio would just go back to History after H2's demise. UFO's and Bigfoot pay the bills around here, so have some respect. .
