EchoStar Names Linda Kinney Vice President of Law and Regulation
ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Sept. 27, 2005 – EchoStar Communications Corporation (NasdaqISH) announced that veteran communications attorney Linda Kinney recently joined the company as Vice President of Law and Regulation. Kinney brings over a decade of regulatory experience to EchoStar's Washington office.

Kinney joins EchoStar after spending the past 11 years at the Federal Communications Commission. Most recently, she served as Deputy General Counsel under Chairman Michael Powell and was responsible for the legal review of satellite, cable, broadcast, wireline and wireless matters. As markets converge, she is well positioned to advise the company across those issues.
Kinney received her law degree from the University of Virginia and her bachelor's degree in political science from Vassar College.
