Echostar 1/2 with DirecTV dish?

I couldn't find anything in the forum that would answer my question, so I decided to ask.
I have a brand new standard DirecTV dish including LNB and I was wondering whether or not I could use it to receive Echostar 1/2 at 148 degrees.
Does anyone know if this would work?

Yes. But you couldn't mix it n with an dish pro switches or LNB, it would have to go straight to a receiver or everything would need to fall back to legacy

I have a Superdish (110,119,121) with a 522. So, I assume the DirecTV dish would not work for me?
