Scott;

Is there an easy way to exclude the new EBAY feeds from a new posts selection? I went to new FTA posts this morning, and found 260 EBAY ads comingled with the regular stuff. Kinda like looking for a needle in a haytstact.

Regards;

Scott R:)

In your User CP, Edit Options under Settings and Options. At the bottom is an exclude box selection box for all the forums.

yep. I just tried that and it works fine

user cp
edit options
select the ebay forum
save

then when you say "new FTA posts" those are excluded

A little help here. I tried the trick quoted above and it seemed to work on the first day or so but lately when I chose "new FTA posts" I get a few new FTA posts and pages and pages of ebay listings. How do I make the ebay stuff disappear for good?

Thanks

The Ebay feeds are still a work in progress.

I am going to change them to make them so that if you want to see it you need to opt in instead of opt out.

I am also narrowing down the feeds today to search by model number as I posted over the weekend. This will cut down the feeds and only find models that people want to get their hands on cheap. :D
