These guys really don't have a clue, do they? If they would hook a REAL dish to it, and aim at something other than "Charlie", they would find that it receives considerably more than those channels

They don't care to do that.......too much work.........not easy and no free PPV, movies or porn.
The attitude seems to be, well I got my money's worth out of it so if I dump it now I'll at least get something for it.
There are LOTS of people on the bad side of FTA around my area. They stick out like a sore thumb 'cause in Canada you can not legally sub to Dish Network so any Bell or Dish Network dish that's pointing a little too far to the west is pretty much a guarantee! I also know some people who are in to it.........actually it is talked about very openly so I even hear about it from folks I don't really know that well.........lets just say that I would consider it as rampant around here. Shocking really when you consider the fact that it IS a crime. I don't know if it is as bad in other areas but judging by Ebay I'm sure it is..........and that's just the folks who have given up on it, I'm sure there are many who are holding out for the next fix. It's kinda like the drug trade in a way.
Well good luck to all who are seeking to upgrade.........I've got my eye out for an HD receiver at a discount price!

yep. I played it real cool (and real dumb) because I knew the receiver would work and I didnt want him to think I knew more than he did

Unless it's a Buy It Now, it's not a good deal until the auction is over. This is good for sellers and for cherrypickers.

Two ways to look at that:
