DVR625 Recording

Newbie here, sorry if this questions has already been answered.

I am considering upgrading to the above recorder but need to know how can I record public television through the antenna on my roof using this peice of equipment? I do not need to pay for the local channels because I already get them. Can this DVR record through my antenna? On the other hand, if I do go with the local channels can I get the HD stations as well? Suggestions?

if you want to record SD locals you need to subscribe to them from Dish. If you want to record HD locals you need the 942 or 921, the only receivers with an off-air tuner built in.
