DVR522 cannot see 118

well, what do you know, the problem went away. Not sure if it's the switch swap/relocation or the receiver power outlet change. Thank all of you for making me a more knowledgeable Dish user....

note: i did see a problem today where i lost all 3 momentarily in the evening but came back quickly though. Hope this is not the sign of what's coming

Here are the details of what my check switch and system info show on a 301 with DP34-21 (4 sat) for 118.

Here are the details of what my check switch and system info show on a 301 with DP34-21 (4 sat) for 118.

The result is showing "LNB drift" ( e -6)....Drift can cause nothing in the way of problems or it can cause signal loss.
In any event, the LNB needs to be replaced. Or you at least be repared for signal loss

Gee, that is funny that you mention this. There is no real drift problem though, this is a software problem with the brand new version p453 software on a 301-13, also a nice way for dish jockeys to drum up repair jobs/bills on naive grannys, real convient! The day p453 hit the machine it reported drift, took lnbf and swapped it with another that was on 129 dish that doesn't report drift, when installed on 61.5 reports drift, replaced all cables to 61.5 still drift reported, then installed orignal 61.5 lnbf on 110 and no drift reported, must be "drifty" E3 TP problem on dishes side/or a new software bug. Even swapped DP34-21 setup for spare DPP44 and still drift on 61.5, not concerned and not having any dropouts or signal problems with 61.5 so I don't accept what the DDDCs what me to think. But, thanks for your concern. Only use 61.5 when rain fade is on 118. Also noticed with new 2 week old p453 that every transponder on every satellite is now labeled as a spotbeam while some are and some are really transponders for conus, they must have had some real winner break the code in p453. ;)

custom dtv/dish self install!
DPP44 DP34
1 119 > 1 119 > 1p DC blckd 2ghz spltr 13v pass 18v via dish DPA destacker > directv 6x8 switch (95,101,119)
2 110 > 2 110
3 118 > 3 118
4 129

DP34

' DP21
'---1 2 --- 61.5

'
' ---DP301 used only for 61.5/118 internationals.

61.5 dish, dish1000+, directv 95/101 dish, used to also have 148 in the mix before deorbit!
directv 119 comes from dish feed and destacked using dishpro adapter and splitter to separate polarity 13/18v 950-1450mhz feeds.

Ok... Do this. Disconnect the sat cable from the receiver. Run a check switch. This will clear the martix. Reconnect the cable and run chk switch again.
If there is no LNB drift the diagnostic screen will show that.

The 301 with p453 on it is the only receiver that is showing drift 61.5 on whatever LNBF I install on 61.5. I tried all that check switch runs while I was moving the LNBF around between 110 and 129, even did info browse theme clearing of memory dump, like I said it all started the minute the receiver downloaded version 453 a few weeks ago and it also now calls every transponder on every satellite a spotbeam. Something is wrong with the new software update. My 322, 3900, 512 ,612 don't show drift on 61.5 when I configure them via DP34-21 just the 301.

If you only use the 301 for 61.5 and 118why not put them on the DP21 switch by themselves, the 301 could be going bad and is no longer able to power 2 switches. Or the DP21 switch is bad unless they replaced that already.
