DVR522 - Alias too dark?

Not sure where to put this post, it came through the 522, so I'll put it in this forum.


Is it me, or was the 2 hour Alias last night really dark and pixellated?

I checked the signal strength and it looked ok. Other shows were bright and non-pixellated as normal. Did they dumb down the signal or something?

I had no problem with Alias, which I recorded and watched with my 522. It may be your local broadcast station, or how Dish aquires the signal from them.
