I appreciate all of you knowledge and insight. This forum has been very informative for over a year for me. I wanted everyone's advice.
My parents are going to try E*. They are in their late seventies and really want something easy to use. Their use is simple. They basically only watch one TV. Should I steer them to the 510 or 522. With Club Dish the two are the same cost (free). A 510 suits their needs and may be a little easier to use, but the 522 is newer technology and theoretically a better receiver. My only concern is the problems that many on this board have with their 522's. I have had a522 for over a year and have minimal problems with it. Even though they have only one TV, they can utilize the single mode features. To me, name based recording is more trouble than its worth to them
