I currently have 1 942, top 200, HBO, and the old HD pack. I am thinking of upgrading to the 622 using the DVR advantage for programming but I have a question. I know that DVR adv includes locals and that it states that you must qualify but I know that I do not where I live. Will Dish still let me have this package? I know in theory I will be paying for something I am not getting but the price is still lower by way of DVR Advantage.

Thnaks for the help.

I can't answer your question. I don't see where E* even carries any channels from DE cities. But what is your chance for receiving channels over the air? That is certainly a viable options for many subs. and the HD picture quality is usually superior that way vs. received from the sats., either service. Check here if you don't already know for sure: www.antennaweb.org

Welcome, BTW...!

They do offer Philadelphia locals about 10 miles away from me. I already get OTA local stations great but just trying to figure out if they will give the package so the $ is less.

Thanks
