I have the Dishnetwork DVR 625 receiver. I use it for separate programming on my livingroom and bedroom televisions.Everything use to work great, and then the bedroom #2 remote starting acting funny. When you pushed the channel button to turn the channel it would hesitate for a while and then the channel would change.I bought new batteries thinking that was the problem, but it wouldn't work right. Now it is really bad.The remote will not work at all for this tv.For a while when i turned the tv on, it was the same as the livingroom tv program, and when the channel was turned in the livingroom with remote#1 it turned my bedroom tv.My son messed with the remote addresses and now the second tv is on a different channel than #1 tv and i have no way of turning the channel because the #2 remote refuses to work with this tv.It seems to turn the channels on #1 t.v., but won't work for #2. Could this be something wrong with the little attenuator that screws into the #2 tv? Please Help!

As long as the remote addresses aren't the problem you may need to move the little antenna.

If it's screwed into the back of the 625, you can unscrew it and use a piece of coax to move the antenna somewhere higher and closer to the bederoom.

You can use any piece of coax with the ends on it, just like you'd hook a tv to a cable box. Screw one end into the 625 and attach the antenna to the other end. Now locate the antenna somewhere higher. You might need to move it around or use a long piece of coax, depending how far the bedroom is from the 625.

I used the piece that came with my 625 and put the antenna on top of the TV in the livingroom. The TV in my bedroom was acting like you describe. You had to hold the remote up in the air to change channels. Now it works no matter where you hold the remote....

Anyone else in Des Moines lose 129?
