Dvr 625 Hd

Does the HD ever turn off on this unit it seems to always be on even when unit is turned off. My 510 did not make near the noise the 625 does.

The only way it will stop making the noise is if you unplug it so it will be completely turned off. The noise of the Hd is completely normal so you don't have to worry about it. After a while you should get used to it.

I had a couple of 625's before I got one that was quiet. The 508 I upgraded from was very quiet & I wanted the 625 to be just as quiet.

I have a 625 and I don't hear the hard drive at all. I guess you just need to be lucky and get a quiet one.
