Since getting the latest firmware that changed the signal strength meters (dropped by about 20 points on average), I've noticed that audio output on the optical port is dropping for less than a second every couple of minutes, no matter what channel I'm on. This is in single-user mode, and nothing else except live-TV watching.
The Sony receiver shows the PCM mode and rate on its display after each drop, so it's like the source was switched from the receiver's perspective. This is with software version L461.
Anyone else seeing this?
