My rptv only has dvi input will this work with either hddvd player or will it down convert thanks

Carlosg it should work just fine. The only difference with DVI and HDMI is DVI is only for video were HDMI can play audio and video.

It should work as long as the TV is HDCP compliant (digital security). However, some devices like MovieBeam is not allowing this at the current moment. There are other threads on this but I havent seen one that says the HDMI to DVI will be blocked or down converted.
