DVD Recorder Phillips DTV DVR Compatibilty

I have just ordered the new Sony HX900 DVD Recorder and would like to know what problems, if any, that I might run into if I install it in conjunction with my Phillips DTV DVR. I would like to be able to record DVD's from programs I have TiVo'd, does anyone have any experience with this? Obviously I'm new to all this.

I have my Sony SAT T60 DirecTV DVR connected to a Philips DVDR985 DVD recorder. It works just fine. Just use the connections shown for connecting a VCR and substitute the DVD recorder.
