Actually it says here, there were bda.dev driver module bugs, preventing locking S2 channels. Bda.dev driver add-ons are offered by various card vendors, including DVBWorld, to ensure their cards extended features compatibility with DVBDream app., since standard MS BDA driver topology doesn't support DiSEqC, CI/CAM, Remote commands and such, and DVBDream doesn't have a common solution for all card makes to support these extended features either.

Actually the latest bda.dev that installs with DVB Dream beta handles the 2104 units 'out-of-the-box'. There is also an update to the 1.4i version that does the same thing.
