Dvbdream recording names

Has anyone found a graceful way of naming recordings in dvbdream? The only options are channel name, date/time, split piece and epg name. FTA channels have no EPG. If left as default, I wind up with a name that has the channel name, date/time and "no event".

I wonder if the EPG is stored in a file that can be manually edited so I could have a name instead of "no event".

As a last resort, I could run a scheduled bat file and rename each recording. I just wanted to know if anyone has found an easier way.

I like the name/date thing. It's a bit time consuming to dig in to it, but at least you know when it was recorded, so if you have titan tv next to you it shouldn't be hard to figure out what's what

The channel name does help. But I have to either glance at the date/time stamp of when the file was created OR count on my fingers from noon on
