I want to thank the forum for all the insight, information and opinions on my dilemma. However, I think I have solved the cable tv-less situation quite nicely without the FTA setup, but many thanks to the folks who suggested Roku. That thing is the bomb! Got one for my son's tv to check it out, and 2 days later picked another up for my bedroom tv. Too cool! I'm a news junkie, and the fact that I can get news about the USA from non-US media, without US media bias...cable couldn't even do that. The kid gets all the cartoons and movies he could watch, I get my news, and the world is right again (at least, my world). FTA isn't completely off the table, but the void has been filled quit well by Roku. So until my network can't handle the usage and/or I can't afford the broadband upgrading, FTA will have to take a backseat. Thanks all!!!
