I have a Genie, 2 clients, and an HR24. I have internet from my router directly into HR34 receiver. I have unplugged CCK which was installed at my HR34 location. What functionality am I missing by not having CCK connected?
Thanks. I am not exactly sure what whole home is....but I haven't lost the ability to share DVR content across the Genie and HR24 and that is mostly all I need vs any content online/demand.
Actually, now that you say that, I had read (in this forum) that the Genie can act as a CCK on its own (I had forgotten). Apparently that must be true, otherwise you would have lost the ability to share the DVR content (Thats Whole Home btw).
