'Duck Dynasty' Resolves Salary Standoff With A&E, Cast Signs for Additional Seasons
Sources confirm to The Hollywood Reporter confirms that the Robertson family have signed a new contract that will earn them the more than $200,000 an episode they were seeking. That figure, to be split among the 20 cast members (9 adults and 11 children) is four times as much as they were earning for the first three seasons.
Duck Dynasty just made ratings history: Wednesday night’s fourth season premiere was the most-watched non-fiction series telecast in cable TV history.
The A&E docu-style sitcom delivered 11.8 million viewers at 10 p.m.
I watch it with my wife, she loves it.Myself I could do without it,like all reality shows there are parts that seem scripted,or forced,to try and get a laugh.
In the targeted demographic, Duck Dynasty averaged 4.2 million adults 18-49. That's enough to make it the top cable program of the night -- though it did not top American Idol.
