OTHER Dual C-band Feedhorn

Hallo Members ,

is it possible to use a dual c-band feedhorn to recief the c-band signals to fine-tune the lnb to the Dish.
at 1 lnb the tv ,and the other lnb a measuring instrument . or does that not work !?!

Maybe before you try and "reinvent the wheel" you should try and understand how it works to start with.

A basic answer is c-band satelites send horizontal signals and vertical waves. So with a dual feedhorn you put another c-band lnb on like the one you already have. one lnb receives reception of vertical waves and the other lnb receives horizontal waves. So magic static gave you good advice. No one can give you much help till you research on your own on how satelites works.

The short answer is yes. If you have two signal meters to tune in simultaneously and can see realtime changes between both polarities, go for it.
