Will I be able to use a dtv phase 3 dish with a BEV 3100 receiver? I have read that the switch isn't compatible?? If so, what do I need to do to get it to work? Thanks!

only the 101 slot will work, but you can aim it for 91 only. Reason is the switch is internal and Expressvu uses different switches than Direct.

If you need both 91 & 82, get a Dish500...theat will work much betetr

Thanks for the help. I was hoping that I would not have to get another dish but it looks like I will.

One more question (sorry I'm new at this!). If I get a dish pro dish and lnb, will I still need to purchase and install a separate SW21 switch? Or will I just have to attach the cable to the dish and be ready to go?

Thanks again for the help!

SW-21 will not work with Dishpro lnb's. The dishpro equivanent is the DP-21.
If you get a Dishpro Twin, it has a DP-22 built in, so it will feed both 82 & 91 to 2 recievers. A dishpro Quad will do up to 4 recievers.
For what it's worth, a Legacy Twin or Quad will do the same. But if all your recievers are dishpro compatable, go with the Dishpro.

BEV Changes????

Adding BEV HDTV. What do I need?
