DTV America program on RTN question

Sunday night on RTN's program DTV America, Gary Lee Robbins kept talking about a OTA recorder for DTV. I've been trying to search for one since. All I find is a rumor to a future model similar to the DTV Pal by Dish Network. Is that what he was referring? The phones were endlessly busy.

Until it's released (if ever) , it's just smoke.
Plenty of uninformed comments and wishes on SatGuys and AVSforum.
You'll find endless drivel on the subject in both places.
NOW, once the product is being delivered, THEN I'll sit up and take notice!

edit: Several months ago, I started a thread asking if any of the HD FTA receivers could be used as just an ATSC PVR.
The answers were not encouraging, at the time.

Now heres an OTA recorder for DTV.
Philips - Hard Disk/DVD Recorder 160 GB - DVDR3576H/37 - Players and recorders - Recorders, DVD and home theater
It does record ATSC OTA, but just not in HD, only in SD. Missed the show so I do not know to what he was refering to. I use one of these boxes to record WNGS. Works great.

Check eBay for "Sony (DHG-HDD250,DHG-HDD500)". The numbers refer to the hard drive capacity in gigabytes.

Sony discontinued these wonderful OTA HD/SD PVRs supposedly because they couldn't sell them for a profitable price. I have two and I have never been so happy with a piece of gear!
