DSR 505 DVI Connection

I have a *C DSR 505 with the DVI cable output. I've finally got around to getting a DVI cable and so far, have no problem getting the HD channels on that input.

Once I switch to an SD channel, the DVI signal goes away. Is this how *C has it programmed, or is there some menu setting that I didn't come across to toggle the DVI on for all channels.

I would think if the component outputs all channels, the DVI would also. Worst case scenario....I program both inputs into my Harmony.

Figured er out!

As it usually does.... the solution comes to me after I query help.

The little red button inside the front door selects the resolution.

you are right, i just leave mine set at 720 and it changes the screen according to the transmission. HD is in full widescreen on my LCD and SD gives me the bars on the side, as I don't like the stretch mode. It does this automatically.
