DSL Reports

I think they're having problems today. Couldn't get to them earlier today, then a few hours ago they were back, now looks like they're down again.

My ISP (COX) is sucking tonight. Normally I can get 20MB/s with no problem, but tonight I can't get near a 1 mb/s connection. I wanted to go to DSLreports and see if anyone else in the area is having issues.

Cox tech support was worthless said the signal to my modem was ok.

This is the message I am getting: Thu Apr 17 21:44:43 EDT 2008 ============================ we are looking at a denial of service attack and have taken the site offline for a little bit.

Valued users:

unfortunately we have a DDOS (distributed denial of
service attack) currently aimed at our pages, rather
than give you page timeouts and errors I've decided to
show this page so I have some time to work around the
problem (eta uncertain).

Since we recognize you have a login cookie, you
are reading a message pitched at existing users.
Feel free to use a temporary alternate path:

http://209.122.192.190/login (WORKING OK, but a bit slow. Dates seem off to me; so not sure if I trust it 100%) - my personal edit....

since the ddos has taken out a nac router, the secondary
site isn't much help right now. I'm basically stuck waiting
for nac to blackhole the traffic upstream ..

secondary site is working well enough, of course not many
people will even know it exists as the main site is so slow
to even display this message.. still waiting for nac.
