Have Sadoun 36" dish mounted on my roof. A good wind will move the dish only so little as to stop the signal. My question. would it hurt anything if I drilled two holes in order to put an addtional set of braces. The only way it moves now is in side to side. Thanks

You want side support arms to hold the LNB in place?
Not a problem. Do it.
There are pictures on the forum where others have.
I had a big heavy LNB, so I put larger supports on mine.

You want to stabilize the pole the dish sits on?
Some dishes come with such support struts.
There, you need to drill holes in the vertical tube the dish sits on.
Maybe not what you asked, but it's no problem. Do that , too.
There are pictures on various vendor sites with good example pictures.

Anole,

How good did that KU 3ABN dish work for C-band?

Didn't get squat (but really should have).
Bagged the two BUDs in my signature, and never looked back. -
