after switch check...switch installed says NONE. connected 1000.2 about 50' of rg6. all three sats on each. checked ports...only one sat reads. varies... sometimes 110 ...somestimes 119...sometimes 129...never all three on any port. one of three cables with messenger grounded to dish, switch, and good bldg ground. should be okay, yes? pwr sup plugged into pwr strip, problem? connecting 222 and 211. only one sat on each tuner. sat varies. software maybe? what about a ground block for sat lines before the switch? ending up bypassing switch going straight to the dish. works but only leaves one line to the dish. apt bldg. going to need more rcvrs for more apts in near future. what do you think? pwr strip, grounding, software upgrade, or your ideas? spinach ain't working

You might get better answers by starting a new thread rather than tacking onto a three year old thread that has outdated information. Give us all the details about your apartment installation starting from where you mounted the dish.

After rereading are you trying to setup a commercial system using consumer equipment?
