Hey;

Just received an used DPP44 but the problem is that the installation manual is missing. I went to the Dish Network page and didn't find it there. I search this forum but the link posted is dead. Can somebody point in the right direction.

The thing is that I have 2-4900, a 622(I have the DPP saparator) and a 301. I just don't want to screw anything up, basically this will be my first DPP installation. At least I need to know if I can connect the legacy units to any port, or the one using the Power Inserter designated to that?

Thanks in advance
Tom

i think the 4900 are dp units i maybe wrong though
622 port 1 with power insert
301 port 2
4900 port 3
4900 port 4
do you have any pr legacy adapters?

I would personally put the 301 on port 1 w/PI so you wont have possible diplexer issues.
I agree, 301 on port 1 with the power inserter
622 on port 2
and the 2 legacy on 3 & 4

4900 are legacy, if it is a 4 digit number it's legacy, 3 digit it's DP

You do not need any adaptors with the Legacy receivers. They can hookup to ports 2,3, or 4. Make sure that you hookup either one of the other receivers to port 1 with the power inserter. The 622 or the 301 can hookup to port one, makes no difference.
