If you plan on going HD later, especially with a dual tuner like the 9200, then I would get a Dish Pro Plus (DPP) Twin. That way you can use a DPP Seperator to run only a single line to the receiver.

Btw, what receiver(s) are you using? The older ones won't work at all with the DishPro lnb's and switches, unless you use DishProPlus, or use a DP adaptor.

The 3100 is dish pro compatible, so you'll be okay with normal dish pro. You're only reason now for dish pro plus, is if you plan to add a dual tuner in the future and want to run only 1 line.
