DP34 from SW21, DP301's

I started with a single dish dual LNB, 2 - SW21's, and 2 - DP301's. Because of rain and snow losses, I managed to get it working with two larger dishes, one for 110* and the other for 119*. It took removing the plastic cover on the LNBs so that a bracket could grab around the 1" throat.

Then my son's plans changed and he sent me his 322 (dual receiver) with prepaid programming. I have a clusterf*** of antennas in the yard. Not good with the war department.

So I bought a couple DP34's, thinking to clean up some of the mess and get rid of some wires.

A DP301 when hooked up to it can see 119* only and indicates with tone and bar. If I run check switch, it says DP34 switch and no LNBs connected, no tone, no bar, no nothing.

I haven't tried the 322 yet, other than to hook one tuner up with an SW21 to a dual feed dish, which works.

Substituting the other DP34, no difference, so I think I don't have 2 bad ones.

Any ideas? I'm plumb out, even thinking of going back to the competition.

If you are using 'Legacy' lnb, which are the only ones which will work with an SW switch, they will not work with DP switches. The technology will not work with each other. To use the DP34, the legacy lnb have to changed to DP lnb's.

If you are going to replace the DP301s with the 322 just run both lines from the SW-21s to the 322 and it will work. If you are going to add the 322 to the 301s you will need to upgrade to Dish Pro LNBs so you can use the DP34, or if you can find a bargin on a SW-64 it is a Legacy switch that will give you 4 outputs.

What is good signal from 129?
