DP301 and Antenna Connection

I have a DP301 receiver that has an antenna connection. I connected the antenna but I am not sure as to how to setup the receiver to receive local channel via the antenna. Is this even possible and what happens if there is no satellite reception? Please reply and thanks.

I believe it is just an antenna pass through. The 301 does not have an ATSC tuner. You have to have a tuner in your set.

The 301 does not have a built in ASTC tuner...only the HD boxes do

That antenna in is just a passthrough
