Does a DP 21 work with a separator on a 722k? I'm going to put my larger dishes up again and ran onto a DP 21 switch found from a removed install. Since I really only need 61.5 & 72.7 now was thinking about not using the DPP44 and only 2 dishes.

No, it doesn't work. You'll need two DP21 switches, one for each tuner.

DP21 is basically the same as a SW21 except it is for Dish Pro technology. It combines 2 satellites onto one cable you would need 2 of them and 2 cables for a 722.

So will just move my DPP44 and only hook up 2 of dishes instead of 3 for now. Thnx.
