downloading from amazon

i don't know the correct terminology but I connect to the internet via a device connected to a USB connection that gets a signal from a satellite wirelessly. The company is US Cellular and I get 5GB of data use for $50.00 a month. If I watch a show from amazon such as breaking bad how much data will I use up for the hour show.Thanks

sd or hd?

my guess would be 500mb to 1gb for hd

if you have metered bandwidth and are limited to 5gb, i would not suggest doing much video download or streaming

It varies with Amazon. They do a QoS (quality of service) test before they start streaming and give you the highest bandwidth they think you caan handle at that time. You can choose SD versions of a lot of stuff and that should help a lot. However, the QoS thing makes it very difficult to predict usage.
