I realize the final arbiter of this type of question is Dish and of course I can/will call them, but I generally find I get better and more accurate information here than from the company itself.
I am currently out-of-contract, am planning to possibly downgrade my service (severely) and am wondering if such an action would trigger a new commitment. I know it sounds crazy but, after all, we are talking big business in general and Dish in particular. Specifically, I have a 622 hooked to one TV, a 211 to another and currently subscribe to Classic Gold 250, Gold HD and locals (I think that's it) and am looking at cutting back to DishFamily. I would also send back my 211 and just use the 622 to feed both TVs. Would I still be out-of-contract? Would Dish let me keep leasing the 622 even though I won't have any HD?
Thanks in advance, any information would be appreciated.
