Dolby Digital not working?

I did not really notice this until two nights ago. My phillips tive is not outputting in DD anymore. Sepcifically, I recorded Usher (live in PR several months ago). It was DD 2.0 & played back as such but now it is not. Yes I have record & output Dolby Digital selected. I did a search for just DD & all it came up with was National Treasure (in pay-per-view no less ).

It seems to me that there was always at least 2 or 3 movies going on in DD at any given time. Is my Tivo/guide broken, or is this some kind of bandwidth saving thing?

Check you cables! ( ie. Optical or Coaxial)

Ok I hate to bring this old thread back, but anybody reading this: Could you check in the guide/programs to record & see if any Dolby Digital programs are even showing? I tried last night & saw none. Could my guide be broken? I do have record/output DD in setup enabled.

HBO, Showtime and Starz are pretty much the only channels that use DD5.1 audio for select movies. Sometimes a PPV movie will have DD5.1 audio.
