Does ViP622 have, "keep only 1 recording" feature?

Before I signed up for E* I used to have a Tivo Series 2 DVR. It had a software feature that allowed the user to record only the newest episode of any series and also keep only 1 recording of the show. In other words, you it could record 10 o'clock news every night and replace the previous night's 10 o'clock news with the new recording.

Is anything like that feature available with the ViP 622?

yes, when you set up the timer or whatever, you can go to options and choose how many episodes to keep.

Yep, works great. I use it with older shows that have lots of episodes on per day (like Seinfield). I have it set at keep 5 so there is always a variety of them to put on if there is nothing else that I want to watch.

HA! I do the same thing with seinfeld...
