does this receiver work with t5?

i was wondering if this fta receiver shown on this site is compatible with a 30 inch dish with a c band lnb for t5,any help is appreciated

Not sure if you are mixed up or not , but a 30" dish is not going to do what you want on C band ( 30" or larger OK for Ku band ) .

I can tell you by experience . I have been testing a 90 cm ( 36" ) dish on C band , as a hobby & because I already had 90% of the parts .

I get quite a few anaolg C band channels , form asmost as good as over the air TV to VERY snowy . Most are in between .

But the ViewSat receiver is DVB-S , digital . I could count on both hands the number of DVB-S channels I received .

And you are asking about a 6" smalled dish .

For RELIABLE C band , you need a bigger dish . What the size threshold is , I can not tell you .

I have scrounged one 8' and two 10' dishes . In the process of trying to aim the 8' dish .
