Does the hopper make a lot of noise when it reboots?

Our bedroom 622 used to wake us up when it rebooted at 3am. I was able to prevent that by changing the reboot time to 7:30am. Since hoppers don't have that time change option I'm thinking when we switch from VIPs to hoppers a joey in the bedroom and hopper in the den would be better for us than the other way around. I would want 2 hoppers with sling and 2 joeys to replace a 622, 722 and 922.

if you're a light sleeper, the noise could wake you up. at boot, the fans spool up to their highest setting and then calm back down after about 15 seconds.
that's the worst of it.

put it in the den, that way you don't have to worry about the noise at any time.

since the Joey can access anything on any of the hoppers in your house unless reaching the hopper is an issue that's the best place to put it.

the only caveat is that you'll need to go to your den to do a red button reset.

There is no noticeable fan speed change. In fact, I miss that as a clue that it is rebooting.
I have to go to the fsck date to be sure that it got the full reboot treatment.
Although it took a little longer yesternight(?) as it got S244 and they have the date on it.
