does a 522 have a internal g3 card?

I purchased a 522 on ebay and was listed as having a g3 card with it, when i got it there was no card, they are telling me that it has an internal g3 card... Is this correct? Thanks

Doubtful but possible, call DISH and give them your S00# and they will tell you if it is a G3. 800-333-3474

If it has a G3 card then the card/chip number will start with S19. If it does not have a G3 card/chip then it will start with S00. I seen a 625 recently without a card but the number started with S19. The 625 is equivalent to a 522 except it has a larger hard drive.

What is the DNASP from Sys Info? A refurb 522 could possibly have an internal G3. Although the S00.... doesn't sound good.

Did you not check the R00 and S00 numbers with Dish before you bought it?

S00 number = NOT a G3 card/chip.

I would be contacting that person on ebay and tell him that you expect a G3 card or a refund of around $65 which is the amount a G3 card costs after shipping. Dish Network might ship you one for free. You might have to get the DHPP warranty to get the card for free from Dish.
