Sunday's Los Angeles Dodgers-Colorado Rockies baseball game is not scheduled in the MLB package for DirecTV but is scheduled for the cable equivalent of InDemand. The game is to be televised by the off-the-air affiliate in each market with no RSN simulcast, which would explain why D* isn't offering it. However, InDemand will be offering the KTVD feed out of Colorado to show the game. Why must there be such inconsitency in the schedule? Last night, D* showed the Brewers-Astros game using a feed from WMLW in Milwaukee, which would make it only the second OTA station to be offered in the MLB package (the only other one being WWOR for Yankees games). If InDemand is going to offer OTA feeds to allow games to be shown, I think D* needs to somehow make this happen as well. The availability of dual feeds and many HD games make the package very attractive. But the inability to be able to show all games broadcast on a day definitely diminishes the value of the package, even if ever so slightly.
