A little late, but could you select & copy the text in the PDF and paste into your favorite word processor?

PDF is not (usually) friendly to that sort of thing. In any event, he has an "image" of a PDF, not the PDF.
You got it. an image embedded in a PDF.
But thanks to help here, I have found that OmniPage and Nuance's PDF Converter do a pretty darn good job.
Sounds like you realy dont need the help anymore but I use Nuance PDF Converter here at work and it is usually works. Just has some limitations and creates way too many tabs if you export into an Excel document. Of course where I work we are still using version 4. Not sure if version 5 is better or not.
