I'm cautiously optimistic. I had no idea who Matt Smith before he came on to replace David Tennant and he brought a unique energy to the role.

Matt Smith's only fault as Dr. Who was that he had to follow David Tenant, arguably the best Dr. Who of all time. I liked Matt, but I am ready for a new Doctor.

I have a feeling that franchise has bit the dust. I liked it too ,but after the Starz run I don't see where they could take it, unless they started all over again with a new team. Loved Capt.Jack though.
